FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The 16th annual CDBG In the Park community picnic will be held Friday, July 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Walker Park large pavilion.
The event is an opportunity for the City of Fayetteville’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to celebrate its investment in the community. It features various local programs and organizations – including Community Resources Department programs – that provide information about varying services offered to residents.
CDBG In the Park is open to the public. Community Resources staff will serve hot dogs and cool drinks, and fun activities will be available. Well-behaved pets are always welcome!
Also, a draft master plan for Walker Community Park will be available for pubic feedback.
For more information about the event or any of the available CDBG programs, please call Community Resources at 479-575-8260 or visit: https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/643/Community-Resources.
