Emmanuel. God is with us. And God was definitely with us at CYM!!
We had an incredible time looking at Jesus’s birth story from a new perspective. We started Nativity Night with play-doh recreations… see photos (the lambs are the best ). Then we talked about how we can still relate to each character. Are you Mary, fully trusting God? Are you a wise man, searching for the Savior? Are you the star, guiding others to Christ? We may not be little ceramic figures in a cute wooden barn, but we are still a major part of this story. The kids then cycled through Advent prayer stations, making a little room in their hearts for Jesus.
The Son of God wasn’t just born in a manger to save the people in the Bible. He came to save us all. Open your hearts this season and let Him.
