Rep. Bruce Westerman, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas' 4th district since 2015, recently shared a series of tweets highlighting various events and acknowledgments. The congressman, born in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and an alumnus of the University of Arkansas, took to social media to express his gratitude and recognize notable contributions within his community.

On December 12, 2024, Rep. Westerman tweeted about honoring Bob Holt on the House Floor. He stated: "Last night, I had the privilege of honoring renowned sports reporter, Bob Holt, on the House Floor. Coaches, players, and reporters across the Arkansas sports community will all tell you what a beloved, admirable, and talented friend and colleague Bob was."

The following day on December 13, he acknowledged the long-standing service of the National Guard with a tweet: "Always ready. Always there. For 388 years, the National Guard has boldly and faithfully answered the call of duty." He expressed gratitude towards their commitment to preserving national freedom.

Later that same day on December 13th, Rep. Westerman highlighted Entergy's grant announcement for Lake Hamilton Fire & Rescue: "Earlier today, Entergy announced their grant for Lake Hamilton Fire & Rescue of $160,000 for integral resources to better serve the Lake Hamilton and Lake Catherine communities." He extended special thanks to Braxton Bennett from Entergy for this contribution.
