3.7% of Pike County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Pike County recorded an unemployment rate of 3.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 166 people out of the 10,234 living in Pike County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Pike County has decreased compared to the 3.8% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Pike County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.
