7.5% of Miller County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Miller County recorded an unemployment rate of 7.5% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,352 people out of the 42,875 living in Miller County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Miller County has decreased compared to the 8.1% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Miller County was greater than the statewide unemployment rate of 5.3%.

Of the 16,644 people who had a job during that time, 24 were employed in the Armed Forces and 16,620 belonged to the civilian labor force.
