Census Bureau: 73.6% of people in Howard County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 12,894 citizens living in Howard County in 2021, 73.6% were old enough to vote, equating to 9,486 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 4,462 were male, constituting 47%, and 5,024 were female, making up 53%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Howard County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 76.5%.
