The Public School Choice Act of 2015 enables students in Arkansas, grades kindergarten through 12th grade to attend a school in a nonresident district.

If you reside outside of the Ouachita River School District (Acorn and Oden Schools) and choose Ouachita River School District as your school choice for the upcoming school year, our faculty and staff look forward to a collaborative partnership with your family to support your child in the learning process and be successful in preparing for life.

The deadline for the school choice application process is May 1, 2023. The steps to complete the process include:

2 - On or before the May 1, 2023 deadline, submit the completed application. Applications may be delivered or mailed to one of the campus locations listed in Step 1 or the Ouachita River School District Administration Office:

3 - Upon approval of the initial application, a renewal application each year is not required for consecutive annual enrollment in Ouachita River School District.
