Over the past couple of years AFD has been working hard to better our ISO rating (PPC). We have taken steps to improve on firefighter training and fire protection as a whole to better serve our community. In June of 2022 we began our evaluation process and after 6 long months we have received our scores and have successfully improved our rating from a Class 4 to a Class 3. This will be effective April 01, 2023. We want to thank the citizens of this community for supporting our department which has allowed us to reach this goal.
