STAFF SPOTLIGHT! This week we are highlighting the newest member of our Marketing Team: Meg Webb, Director of Marketing and Strategic Communications!

Tell us a little bit about yourself,

where you are from, and how you came to be at ASU Mid-South.

I was born and raised in West Memphis and now live in Marion with my husband, Burke, two children, Lily (4) and Levi (1), and our dog, Delta Dawn. I received my Master of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Integrated Marketing Communications from The University of Mississippi. I previously worked in marketing and communications at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital and was excited when the opportunity to come work in the community that I’ve known and loved for so long became available.

What are some of your favorite hobbies?

I love being with my kids – going on walks, playing at the park and spending our weekends with family and friends. My husband and I love to travel and try new restaurants any chance we get. Exercise and meditation keep me sane, and I enjoy reading a good book whenever I get time to myself. I am the DeltaARTS Board President, and a member of Moms of Marion, a group that promotes and organizes family-friendly events in our community.

What is your favorite quote?

Whew, this is a tough one. One of my favorites is: “If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.” – Jim Valvano

A note from Meg:

“I am thrilled to be in this role to continue to promote how special of a place ASU Mid-South is, and how affordable and accessible higher education can be. Mid-South has bettered the lives of countless people in our area and beyond. There are many things that make this college great, and the people are the heart of it all. I’m very proud to be a part of the ASU Mid-South family and spread the word about all of the positive, life-changing experiences ASU Mid-South can provide.”

When you see Meg, be sure to say hi and give her a big ASU Mid-South Welcome!
