Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on June 15.
A chance to win $500 enjoying a scenic drive around Montgomery County Arkansas!! Similar to a poker run, but with the Poker Chip Scenic Drive you don’t even have to know how to play poker! Easy Peezy, you just blind draw a poker chip at each stop & when you return to the starting point you’ll find out what each color chip is worth!! Our 5 stops will be:
•Joplin Store
•Big T’s General Store- Oden
•Caddo Gap Mercantile
•Blue Bell Country Store- Story
•Norman General Store
We will begin & end at the Montgomery County Old Courthouse Square. Lots of beautiful scenery, plenty of time to stop along the way to check out landmarks, visit a shop or two, eat lunch at one of the stops, & take lots of pictures!! If you have questions call 870-260-6140 or be on the lookout for our event posters. $35 for the first hand & $25 for the second per vehicle. You’re encouraged to sign up early, but we will take same day entries!! Come Join the FUN!!
