Raffle

Mount Ida Area Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on April 14.

Voting is now closed so if you didn't vote for your favorite Above and Beyonder's, it's now too late. But it's not too late to be there when the winners are announced. Get your tickets now!

The banquet is Thursday, April 21, at Lake Ouachita Baptist Church. If you are a voter, you can meet and greet the local primary candidates at 5:30PM.

The banquet starts at 6PM and will include a fabulous pasta bar buffet. In addition to announcement of Volunteer of the Year winners, we will have two excellent speakers to join us.

Speakers include Gary McWilliams, owner of Old Gap Mercantile in Caddo Gap. Producer of the Youtube channel, The Farm Hand's Companion, Gary will talk about “Lessons I Learned From The Farm.”

Also speaking will be Kim Williams, with the Arkansas Tourism Department. Mount Ida and all of Montgomery County will be directly in the path of totality with the Great North American Eclipse in 2024. Arkansas will have hundreds of thousands of vistors to our state and Kim will share the highlights of what we may expect and how to prepare. This is really a BIG DEAL and will be great for our economy!

Tickets to the banquet event are $10 purchased in advance, & $15 cash (only) at the door as long as seats are available. Advance ticket purchases can be made with credit card on the chamber website, https://www.mtidachamber.com/ as well as at the Chamber office, please call 870-867-2723 to reserve your seats today!
