Henderson State University issued the following announcement on April 13.
Teams had phenomenal performances on both days. HSU Pom placed second in the Dance Spirit Rally Open division, .02 points separating them from 1st place. HSU Cheer took home the Championship title, beating 2nd place by 2.3 points. They are your 2022 Cheer Spirit Rally Open Division National Champions. Thank you for all the support and for everyone who made this happen for HSU spirit. We'll be back Daytona!! Go Reddies!
