Mena - Polk County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Feb. 10.
Due to the winter storm and multiple blood drives canceling last week donors are needed immediately to help rebuild the blood supply!
Blood drive cancellations have resulted in the loss of 70% of anticipated collections. The demand for blood products is also above average, adding more strain to the blood supply.
As the weather clears, help us REBOUND, RECOVER, and REBUILD the blood supply!
