Arkansas State University-Newport invites applications for the position of Accountant II on the Newport campus. The Accountant II is responsible for performing a wide variety of fiscal related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within an assigned department or program and for researching financial data and preparing reports. Also, acts as the Executive Assistant for the Vice-Chancellor for Finance & Administration/Chief Financial Officer. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Minimum Qualifications
Formal education of a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or experience
Salary and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is $32,894-$37,828.
