ElDorado Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
The El Dorado-Union County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Turning Point of South Arkansas during their open house this morning at their office located at 101 W. Main Street, suite 300 in downtown El Dorado!
Turning Point of South Arkansas’ mission is to provide support and resources for survivors of violence by providing prevention education and intervention services in south Arkansas. They are an amazing resource and non-profit for South Arkansas!
Also, please join Turning Point of South Arkansas this Thursday at 11 a.m. on the Union County Courthouse steps, where a proclamation will be given by El Dorado Mayor Veronica Smith-Creer and Chief of Police Kenny Hickman!
This Friday will be Post It Purple Day! So show your support by wearing purple this Friday for Domestic Violence Awareness!
