Census Bureau: More women than men in Washington city in 2019

Of the 159 people living in Washington city in 2019, 50.9 percent (81) were women and 49.1 percent (78) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the SW Arkansas Times.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by a ratio of 48-to-40. In the 65 and over age range, there were 26 females and 23 males.
