Rep. Bruce Westerman, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Arkansas’ 4th district, shared several messages through social media this week. His posts touched on themes of appreciation for mothers, law enforcement officers, and community engagement.
On May 11, Westerman extended his best wishes to mothers everywhere, stating “Wishing all of the wonderful mothers a very blessed Mother’s Day today!” The message coincided with Mother’s Day celebrations across the nation.
The following day, May 12, he acknowledged the contributions of law enforcement officers during National Police Week. He expressed gratitude by saying “This week, our nation honors the law enforcement officers who boldly protect and serve our communities. We are grateful for your service and sacrifice!”
On May 13, Westerman announced an upcoming Telephone Town Hall scheduled for next week. He invited constituents to participate by signing up through a provided link: “I’ll be holding a Telephone Town Hall next week, and you’re invited! Sign up to participate at the link here:”
Bruce Westerman has served in Congress since 2015 after succeeding Tom Cotton. Before his congressional tenure, he was part of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 2011 to 2015. Born in Hot Springs in 1967, Westerman holds a degree from the University of Arkansas.
