On Friday, March 7, former Sheridan High School standout Ashton Branson’s current college team, the Dallas Baptist Patriots, lost 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

The game took place at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park. This was their first matchup against the Ragin’ Cajuns this season.

The Patriots’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at M. L. Tigue Moore Field at Russo Park against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
