About 37.2 percent of the 715 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Arkansas Community College-Hope in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency’s National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Hope conferred 219 certificates and 47 associate’s degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in nursing assistant/aide and patient care assistant/aide. Data shows the school gave out 120 certificates in nursing assistant/aide and patient care assistant/aide, followed by 78 associate’s degrees in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies and 69 certificates in liberal arts and sciences/liberal studies.

The university enrolled 1,559 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
